#18 SlackGPT Week 9: Antler prep, more discovery interviews (2)

Hey there! Welcome to my blog, where I write about my entrepreneurial journey. Last week I spent most of my time meeting (>20) people from my Antler cohort, doing a few more discovery interviews and starting to research the insights coming out of these interviews. 馃叞锔廝reparing for the start of the program I鈥檝e been meeting more and more potential co-founders last week, and I鈥檓 getting more and more excited to build something with one or more of them. Genuinely impressed with the high caliber of people that Antler selected for the program. There鈥檚 a wide diversity of demographics (age, origin, but less so gender) and experiences (AI, consulting, product management, research, large corporates). Many of the people I met are passionate about topics such as climate, health (including mental) and of course AI, and a few are serial entrepreneurs. ...

#17 SlackGPT Week 8: Antler prep, more discovery interviews

Hi and welcome to my weekly blog, where I write about my progress in building a company! I spent the last week mostly talking to people - I鈥檓 starting to get to know the awesome people in my Antler cohort (co-cohorters?), while also doing more discovery interviews. 馃叞锔廝reparing for the start of the program The first few weeks of the program are about testing the compatibility waters by getting to know and trying to work with potential cofounders. It鈥檚 like a combination of The Bachelor and Shark Tank. Since a few weeks is not enough to give it a try with every single person, some pre-program speed dating can help surface both good/bad chemistry and common interests/goals. ...

#16 SlackGPT Week 6: First discovery interviews

Hey you! I鈥檝e been heads down in the customer discovery process, so today I鈥檒l be sharing a quick update on how that鈥檚 going + some stats on you 馃 馃檵Customer discovery progress Let鈥檚 start this off with some numbers. In the chart below you can see that around 1% (2/161) of cold messages get converted into interviews (馃ゲ). Half of those messages were very lightly personalized, and half of them I personalized more thoroughly, including based on your feedback. Unfortunately that hasn鈥檛 made a difference yet. I鈥檒l be following up with the people that haven鈥檛 replied yet (99%) - hopefully that will help. ...

#15 SlackGPT Week 6: Marketing babysteps and joining Antler

Hey there, thanks for coming! This week I started customer development efforts. The goal is to talk to people that could benefit from using SquidGPT, and understand what problems it could help them solve. That should translate into improvements and new features in the app, which will turn it into a product people actually find helpful. Also, big announcement this week: I got accepted into Antler鈥檚 April Paris cohort. Today鈥檚 show: 馃叞锔廕oining Antler 馃檵First customer development efforts 馃彌锔廏etting on the Slack app Marketplace 馃椏Personal update: How鈥檚 it going, Stefan? 鉃★笍Next steps 馃叞锔廕oining Antler Antler is an early stage VC investor that runs a 10-week founder-matching program. #14 SlackGPT Week 5: User management and OpenAI鈥檚 own Slack bot

Hi and welcome to this week鈥檚 update! This week I was heads down coding the bot installation and user management. I finished that in good time and spent some time iterating implementing first feedback in SquidGPT鈥檚 website + some minor formatting improvements in the actual app. Finally, today I found out OpenAI is working on their own Slack app (鈿狅笍) - no surprise there, but still . 馃洿Road to a working prototype RIP old deadline of 28.02.23. New deadline 08.03.2022. Four main deliverables: ...
